Foundation Donation
The Pediatric Proton Foundation is uniquely positioned as an independent, nonprofit charity that relies on voluntary funding from a variety of sources to be able to provide the most objective information available about each proton center in the U.S. in regards to pediatric cancer patients. The dollars given are used to help support our mission of providing education, advocacy, and assistance to families in need. There are many ways to give. Some of the most common ways are below:
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. You may be able to deduct some or the entire amount of your donation for tax purposes - please consult your professional tax advisor.
In Memory Of
A very appropriate and meaningful way that you can honor someone who has passed away is to give to a children’s charity such as the Pediatric Proton Foundation. Memorials made to the Pediatric Proton Foundation will help provide education to parents and doctors and helps with the financial burdens a family faces when seeking proton radiation treatment. When a child stricken with cancer benefits from the appropriate treatment, there is no greater feeling of helping a needy child.
In Honor Of
Many times special occasions such as a birthday, an anniversary or any type of monumental event. Give a donation by honoring someone today. Donations can be made in honor of a loved one to help celebrate any number of occasions. A gift card will be sent to the “in honor of” recipient upon request.
Workplace Community Involvement
Many companies have teams of people that are looking for ways to help children’s health causes. There are numerous ways companies and their employees can begin Workplace Community Involvement of behalf of the Pediatric Proton Foundation.
- Matching Gifts – Read your employee handbook and determine if your company offers a matching program. Matching programs will allow you to increase the amount of your gift utilizing employer funds.
- Income Designation – Many companies give their employees the opportunity to designate a portion of their income to a non-profit organization. At the employee’s request, the deduction is taken directly from a paycheck. The donation can be made each pay period or in one sum donation.
Planned Giving
Planned Giving allows a donor to make a charitable gift of estate assets to one or more non-profit organizations. These assets usually include legal documents and often require the assistance of a qualified professional advisor. The Pediatric Proton Foundation works with Planned Giving professionals who are available to assist you.
