Proton For Reoccurrence?

We are researching the use of protons in case of reoccurrence.  We are know families that have used protons in a pediatric reoccurance situation.  We do know much depends on the cancerous area and if it was treated with radiation with the first diagnosis.  Each body part has a noted tolerance to radiation so this has to be taken into account before treating with additional radiation.
